Everyone is welcome to come join us in the mall area for a time of food, fellowship, and Bible study with Dr. Rush. The church provides the meat (donations welcome). If you are able, you may bring a side dish or dessert to complete the meal.

Through the Bible in 90 Days
January 6-April 14, 5:45-7:00 PM, Cost: $15 for optional Bible (or bring your own NIV translation), Church Parlor Have you ever tried reading the greatest book ever written, but struggled to make it all the way through? This class will present you with a tried-and-true method for tackling the task of reading the Bible cover-to-cover in only 90 days, as well as provide a weekly opportunity for you to experience a teaching and discussion time with other folks doing the exact same thing. (This course will be offered again in the fall.)
Who Stole My Church?

A fictional (and yet very accurate) look at “what happens when the church you love tries to enter the 21st century.” Churches today, including Calvary, have difficult decisions to make in terms of finding a balance between tradition and modern methods in their worship, ministry, and practices, and this book will give us the chance to discuss how these decisions have and will continue to affect the ministry of Calvary. Regardless of your age, church background, personal preferences in worship, or the length of time that you’ve been at Calvary, this is a book-study that will have something for you!
Effective Parenting in a Defective World

This DVD-driven study will provide parents with hope, encouragement, and real help for raising children in the midst of a defective world. Come together for teaching from Chip Ingram (pastor, teacher, author, and father of four) and discussion with other parents to help you come away with principles and practices to enable you to raise your kids God’s way, no matter what their age or stage.

For couples who are planning to be married, this study will prepare you for all that is involved in the commitment you’re preparing to make. Topics include communication, personality differences, sex/intimacy, and several more. Through the Twogether in Texas program, completion of this study entitles a couple to receive their marriage license for free!
